It was freezing and insanely early, but I was thrilled to be singing at the Thanksgiving Day Parade in my hometown of Detroit. Wow, my hair was big.

Sandra’s appearance at the Arts Academy was the highlight of the year for our students. She entertained them with her beautiful voice, delighted them with “behind the scenes” stories of her experiences on the Broadway stage but, most of all she inspired them to be their best, to reach for the stars, but still remain true to themselves. Two years later, our students are still talking about Sandra’s presentation and wanting us to bring her back. In the words of our students, Sandra is “the best, really awesome!” I encourage you to give your students the opportunity to see and hear this amazing performer.

Dear Lady, when was this?! It has to be during the 90s but what year was it? You’re not going to believe this … I remember a little bit of this but I can’t pinpoint what age I was!
This was 1996! Were you a toddler? Oy!
I so was! I was only 5 years old! But it’s funny that I remember that since I’ve loved Phantom from the age of 3! See … I heard you even before I knew who you were! :D xoxo
Sandra! You sound AMAZING in this clip! Gosh…the cold must’ve been crazy. I saw you as Christine in 2006, and loved it. A pseudo singer myself, I love listening to how people’s voices really do change over the years.
